Ancient Synagogue of Barcelona, located in the Gothic Quarter, is one of the oldest in Europe and now functions as a museum and cultural center.
It’s open for visits Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 18:30 in summer (11:00 to 17:30 in winter), and Sundays from 10:30 to 14:30 in summer (11:00 to 15:00 in winter); it’s closed on Saturdays.
For active worship, the Comunidad Israelita de Barcelona and Chabad Lubavitch of Barcelona offer regular services and community events.
Chabad, located on Calle Montnegre 14, is especially welcoming to travelers and provides Shabbat meals and weekday prayers.
If you're looking for a more progressive experience, Centro Bet David in the Gothic Quarter also hosts services and publishes detailed prayer schedules online
